i have this pr. of scaly breast lorries , they are down to nest at the moment but im a little unsure if i actually have 2 hen birds

i haven't had the birds DNA sexed , i got them as a 2 yr old pr from some one locally , (swapped my widowed hooded parrot hen bird for them as her mate passed on )

any how , why i'm wondering if they are both hens is that there are 4 eggs in the nest , and according to what i could find this species usually only has a nest of 2 ?

they did go down to nest for me last yr , 3 eggs in the nest but they were clears.
and i'm pretty sure that this nest is also clears.

is it unusual to have a nest of 3-4 eggs from these birds?
or dose it happen often ... im curious to see if its an indication that my pair is actually 2 girls

tank you in advance for any info'
